SAP Design Guild Newsletter –  April 2012 (No. 87, 04/26/2012)

We would like to inform you of the following additions to the Website:

  • We added a new story:
    • Transformative User Experience – Beyond Packaged Design
  • We accompanied SAP User Experience activities at the CHI 2012 conference with a new editorial:
    • SAP at CHI 2012 – Austin, Texas
  • We published a new SAP UX fun video (stop-motion video):

  • We released a new styleguide in the Resources section:
    • User Interface Styleguide SAP Business ByDesign, Version 2012
  • Finally, w e added two new articles to our UI Design Blinks column:
    • A Sneak Preview of Wearable Computing
    • A Sneak Preview of Visual Aesthetics

After publishing so many sneak previews of HCI Encyclopedia chapters, we decided to also offer a sneak preview of our Interaction 2012 report, which is currently in the draft state. We hope to publish the final version next week. See also the appendix for information about the IXDA network, more photos, and references.

 

SAP Design Guild Newsletter – March 2012 (No. 86, 03/21/2012)

We would like to inform you of the following additions to the Website:

  • At last, we published a new edition covering the topic of accessibility in ten articles:
    • Accessibility Edition
  • We accompanied the edition with a new editorial:
    • New Accessibility Edition and More
  • We updated an accessibility guideline in the Resources section:
    • Front-End Requirements and Infrastructure for Accessibility (German version)
  • Finally, we added two articles to our UI Design Blinks column:
    • Two More Sneak Previews into the HCI Encyclopedia
    • More Experiments with Skyline Graphs

 

SAP Design Guild Newsletter – January/February 2012 (No. 85, 02/22/2012)

We would like to inform you of the following additions to the Website:

  • We published a new story:
    • Dan Rosenberg on Design (interview by Paul Baur, in cooperation with SAP Info)
  • We added three new articles to our UI Design Blinks column, which we restructured slightly:
    • Sneak Preview Number Four into interaction-design.org
    • Sneak Preview Number Five into interaction-design.org
    • Skyline Graphs – New Insights at the Horizon...
  • We updated our events page.
  • Finally, we added two new book presentations and made a few updates to the Books & People section

The publication of the "Accessibility" edition is still in preparation, as are some book reviews…

Yesterday, the SAP Design Guild Website moved to new servers. We apologize for any inconveniences that the move may have caused. As we also did some internal restructuring of the site, a few broken links may still exist.

We also have to get used to the new environment, which will take some time. Thus, if you encounter any issues with the site, please let us know.

By the way, from now on, the SAP Design Guild can also be accessed using the short URL sapdesignguild.org – the "www" is no longer necessary.
